UP government moves 11 IPS officers, Santosh Kumar Singh appointed ACP, Varanasi


In a recent move to realign the composition of the state police, the Uttar Pradesh government has issued orders to transfer and station 11 IPS officers. The move also shuffled the superintendents of police (SP) in seven districts.

1.Anil Kumar SinghIPS Officer 2007-Batch, will assume the position of Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Provincial Armed Gendarmerie (PAC), Lucknow Division.

2. Santosh Kumar Singh2008-Batch IPS-SPS officer, obtains the post of additional police commissioner, Varanasi.

3.Shlok Kumar, The 2014 Batch IPS Officer will assume the post of Chief Superintendent of Police (SSP), Bulandshahar.

4. Alok Priyadarchi becomes Superintendent of Police (SP), Raebareli.

5. Ajit Kumar Sinha will take the helm of SP, Ambedkarnagar.

6. Tej Swarup Singh2013-Batch IPS officer, took charge of SP, Kanpur Outer.

7. Sripati MishraIPS-SPS officer 2008-Batch, obtains the post of DIG, headquarters of the PAC, Lucknow.

8. Sankalp Sharma2012-Batch IPS officer, becomes SP, Deoria.

9. Shubham Patel2016-Batch IPS Officer, will serve as SP, Hamirpur.

10. Ashok Kumar Rai2011-Batch IPS-SPS Officer, Gets Charge of SP, Headquarters, Office of the Director General of Police (DGP), Lucknow.

11. Kamlesh Dixit will assume the post of SP, Mainpuri.
