Major reshuffle in Haryana, 26 IPS agents transferred: La Tribune India



Chandigarh, October 22

In a major reshuffle, the Haryana government issued on Friday transfer and assignment orders for 26 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including several district police chiefs, with immediate effect.

Kala Ramachandran, principal secretary of the Department of Transportation with additional ADGP charge, Crime Against Women, has been put in charge of the ADGP, State Vigilance Bureau (SVB), according to an official statement.

Bharti Arora, IGP, Ambala, has been given an additional charge of IG, Women Safety, according to the statement.

Shiv Charan, DIG, State Crime Branch (H) was posted as DIG, SVB, Hisar.

Ambala Police Superintendent (SP) Hamid Akhtar has been assigned as SP, State Crime Branch (Headquarters).

Rohtak SP Rahul Sharma was appointed SP of Sonepat, and Jhajjar SP Rajesh Duggal was appointed SP of Palwal.

Rajender Kumar Meena, commander of 5th Haryana Armed Police Battalion (HAP), MBN with additional charge from 2nd HAP Battalion received additional charge from SP Traffic, Karnal.

Rewari SP Abhishek Jorwal was posted as SVB (H) SP.

Palwal SP Deepak Gahlawat was posted as Charkhi Dadri’s SP.

Sonipat SP Jashandeep Randhawa with additional load from STF Sonipat was posted as SP from Ambala.

Kurukshetra SP Himanshu Garg has been assigned as SP, SVB (Headquarters).

Jind SP Wassem Akram was posted as SP from Jhajjar.

Fatehabad SP Rajesh Kumar has been appointed SP of Rewari.

Nuh SP Narender Bijarniya was posted as Jind’s SP.

SP, Telecom, Udai Singh Meena was posted as SP from Rohtak.

Charkhi Dadri SP Vinod Kumar has been appointed DCP from South Gurgaon. He replaces Dheeraj Kumar, who was named Kurukshetra’s SP.

Surinder Singh, SP Security CID, has been appointed SP of Fatehabad.

The government has also issued transfer and assignment orders for seven Haryana Police Service officers with immediate effect. PTI
