Indore (Madhya Pradesh): IPS Rajesh Hingankar took office on Saturday as an additional Police Commissioner (Crime and Headquarters). He said that apart from organized crimes, the city must be free from crimes against women and that work would be done on that as a priority.
Speaking to the media, Hingankar said that in order to target organized crime, the intelligence system will be strengthened so that information on criminals will be received by the police at the right time so that they can take immediate action on this information. .
Apart from this, work will be done to keep women safe by identifying more than 100 locations, such as coaching classes, workplaces for women, etc. in the city, which will increase women’s confidence in the police force.
Hingankar said the traffic system in Indore has improved from before. Suggestions will also be taken from residents to further improve the traffic situation in the city.
